Selah Chapel
A sanctuary carved from silence and light—where architecture becomes worship. Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, its white concrete form rises with quiet conviction, echoing the purity and permanence of faith. Inside, warm oak and suspended light evoke divine presence and human longing. Every detail speaks in metaphor: a place to pause, reflect, and encounter the sacred

The RIFT
Inspired by the historic fragmentation of Seattle’s International District, the RIFT Library embodies resilience and unity. A dramatic void carves through the structure, funneling light into the interior and shaping dynamic spatial interactions. Shifting floors, exterior terraces, and transitional crossings foster movement and connection, reinforcing the interplay between separation and cohesion. Encased in rectilinear corrugated steel, the façade integrates punctuated apertures, inviting light and city views while creating a layered dialogue between opacity and transparency.

Folded Light
This project refines architectural intent through structural analysis, form manipulation, and site integration. Beginning with a barn study, the design evolved through "Folding," strategically shaping light and space. A custom light chute and refined wall conditions enhanced illumination, while final site placement near the Fayetteville Public Library ensured seamless spatial and programmatic interaction.

Light & Shadow
Light and shadow exist in seamless harmony—an inseparable bond that shapes space, depth, and emotion. This academic journey illuminated the profound relationship between architecture and light, revealing how carefully orchestrated illumination transforms the built environment into a captivating experience. Through the works of Eero Saarinen, Tadao Ando, and Steven Holl, the study explored how light is not merely seen but felt—an ever-present force guiding perception, defining form, and enriching atmosphere.

A Place For Dwelling
This project examines the interplay of gravity, levity, and light to shape spatial perception. Inspired by the Bait Ur Rouf Mosque, strategic apertures manipulate natural illumination, fostering dynamic atmospheres and enhancing engagement with the built environment. Thoughtful site integration ensures seamless interaction between architecture and its surroundings, creating a refined artist retreat for reflection and creativity.
